Monster Lego Sale at

Calling all Lego Collectors!

This month you can stock up on your contemporary Lego sets through a pretty awesome site-wide Lego sale at That, and if you are a crafty consumer (like I know that you are!) you can also save an additional 15-20% off if you do a little smart shopping.

How? With Coupons!

Use one of those coupon sites to grab a promo code to save you 15-20% off Lego sets. We won’t feature any codes on our site right now, since they tend to expire and change too quickly. But we’ll link to the most reliable sites for Amazon coupons: Coupon Codes – Save Up To 70% Off Lego Sets!

Lego Sets Being Offered:

1. Lego City Demolition Starter Set

amazon coupons - lego demolition

This set has been getting rave reviews. It’s the newest set, a sort of sequel to Lego’s Starter Truck set which featured truck drivers. And what little kid doesn’t want to blow things up? This demolition set has been a long time coming.

2. LEGO Super-Heroes: Iron Man vs. Ultron

You knew there would be tons of Avengers-related LEGO merchandise once the movie came out. It’s only too bad the Ultron character doesn’t come with any James Spader-voice work.

While the movie-version of Ultron had thousands of robots that he could live in, this set comes with just three…and a cool flying vehicle that you can attach one of the Ultron characters too.

3. LEGO DC Superheroes – Grodd Goes Bananas

We featured some Marvel Lego, so we’ll also feature DC. This set features Gorilla Grodd, a supervillain mostly connected to the Flash. While that may make adult comic books fans’ eyes roll, it’s definitely perfect for the kids.

But this set offers much more than Grodd and the Flash. You also get everyone’s favorite DC superhero: Batman. You also get a cool Bat-Mech toy that Batman connects to (presumably Batman built it in case a super-strong gorilla ever needed to be taken down!). There’s also Wonder Woman, her invisible jet (just a little see-through), and an innocent civilian (who looks like the main guy from the Lego movie!).

The Simpsons: now in Lego!

Earlier this year Lego released the 71006 The Simpsons House set in celebration of the iconic American TV show having been on air for 25 years. It’s a fairly large set which is reflected in it’s price tag ($199.99!), there are over 2500 pieces and it comes with 6 minifigures including Marge, Homer, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and Ned Flanders. The house swings open and the roof is removable, so you can see inside and arrange the minifigures in the home.

The garage is detachable with a working door, and it comes with the Simpson family car, dent included! The car opens and you can put up to 4 minifigures inside. There is really a lot of attention to detail and easter eggs for fans of the show in this set. See if you can find all of the items marked ‘Property of Ned Flanders’ that Homer has “borrowed” over the years, or where El Barto has struck! Check the trunk of the car to see if Homer might have accidentally brought something home from the Nuclear Power Plant that he maybe shouldn’t have. The house measures 9″ high by 16″ wide and 9″ deep. I think this would be a great gift for somebody who is a fan of both the show and Lego, it’s a fairly complex build that most reviews said took them several hours to complete.

Check out this video review from JANGBRiCKS, it gives a good view of how the house functions and what the inside looks like when fully assembled:

And this upcoming Sunday the Simpsons will be airing a Lego episode! Not a stop-motion version using the Lego set, but fully digital versions of the characters like in the Lego Movie. Homer wakes up one morning to discover that everyone and everything in Springfield is now made of Lego bricks and has to discover what is going on before he is trapped in the plastic world for the rest of his life. The episode will be airing this Sunday May the 4th at 8pm on Fox.

To coincide with the episode Lego will be releasing a set of Simpsons themed minifigures this May. In total there will be 16 minifigures including the 6 that come with the House set. You can also get Grampa Simpson, Krusty, Milhouse, Ralph Wiggum, Apu, Nelson, Itchy, Scratchy, Chief Wiggum, and Mr. Burns.
